| Research progress of Cortex Phellodendri in the chemical constituents and their pharmacological effects |

| Abstract:Cortex phellodendri is a traditional Chinese medicine with the effects of clearing away heat, purging fire and dampness, detoxification and detumescence. Its main chemical constituents are flavonoids and alkaloids, which have many pharmacological effects, such as immunosuppressive, hypoglycemic and lowering blood pressure. In this paper, the chemical composition and pharmacological effects of cypress are reviewed in order to provide the references for further research and development of cypress. |
