| Study progress on clinical application and side effects of Tripterygium wilfordii |

| Abstract:Tripterygium wilfordii has been widely used in clinic for the treatment of autoimmune diseases, such as nephrotic syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and the curative effect is significant. But it has toxic and side effects for liver, kidney, reproductive system, etc. The side effects of Tripterygium wilfordii are the main obstacles for the usage and promotion. The literature reports about the clinical application and side effect of Tripterygium wilfordii are reviewed in this paper, which provides reference for usage in clinic. |
