| Development of therapeutic drug monitoring |

| Abstract:OBJECTIVE To review the principles of therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM)and the role of analytical techniques in TDM.METHODS The content included ranges of monitored drugs,sampling requirements and analytical aspects.RESULTS This article explained the criteria for undertaking drug level monitoring and the requirements of sampling,compared techniques of chromatographic and immunoassay.CONCLUSION For reliable results of TDM,it is necessary to implement good quality control of the assay to ensure that it continues to work satisfactorily. |
